LakeVille Athletic Boosters

The LakeVille Athletic Boosters are a group of volunteers dedicated to the success of our athletes. The Boosters promote sportsmanship in all phases of its athletic program and assist the coaching staff in securing better equipment and uniforms.

Boosters:

Are an organization with an active and involved membership that is concerned with the total athletic program and all of its participants, regardless of sex, race, socio-economic status or chosen sports activity
Promote school spirit and sportsmanship, and encourage attendance at all home athletic events
Encourage and support the academic endeavors of LakeVille's student athletes.
Provide supplementary financial support for the various athletic activities, including equipment and uniforms
Provide scholarship opportunities to LakeVille graduates

BECOME A BOOSTER

Boosters meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30 in the High School Media Center (day, time, and location are subject to change). Anyone who is a resident of the LakeVille Public School District may attend meetings and be involved. Parents of athletes are encouraged to attend! There is no membership fee to belong to the Sports Boosters, just your regular attendance to meetings and your commitment to serving the needs of our athletic programs.

In order to provide, we serve! Volunteering to share your talents and gifts in support of LakeVille Athletics can be very rewarding and personally satisfying!

TEAM REPRESENTATIVE

Each team has a representative who attends the General Boosters Meetings. The decision as to who the Team Representative will be is determined by the Coach and Athletic Director. There is one representative from each team. Parent(s) of student-athlete for each sport will have the first opportunity to volunteer as the Team Representative.

TEAM REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attend monthly General Meetings and if absent, find a replacement. Team Representatives must attend 80% of the meetings
Communicate information from the Boosters Meeting to the coach
Review the monthly financial reports issued by the Treasurer, paying particular attention to the encumbered fund for which he/she is a Team Representative. Any points requiring clarification should be raised as soon as possible or within a reasonable time frame with the Executive Board and/or Team Coach/Parents.
Coordinate concession volunteers for assigned events
Provide team updates at Boosters Meetings
Share team news and photos with administration

DEER CAMP DINNER

LakeVille Athletic Boosters host Deer Camp Dinner annually for their biggest fundraiser of the year. The evening is full of community, dinner, raffles, prizes, and MANY volunteers!

Proceeds go to the purchase of uniforms and equipment
